Why do my PDFs say SAMPLE?

TX Landlord Docs is free to try, and documents made in the free version carry a SAMPLE watermark. The one-time Lifetime Unlock removes the watermark. If you already bought it, open Settings → Restore Purchases.

How is the deadline calculated?

• The day the notice is delivered is not counted.
• Weekends and holidays are counted.
• If the deadline lands on a weekend or holiday, it moves to the next business day.

The deadline counts from delivery, so log the actual date you delivered the notice.

Which delivery methods are allowed since January 1, 2026?

• Mail or a delivery service
• Inside the unit, in a conspicuous place
• Hand delivery to a tenant 16 or older
• E-mail, only if you and the tenant have a written agreement to use it

How do I back up my data?

Your data is stored only on your iPhone. Go to Settings → Export Backup and save the file to iCloud Drive or another device. To restore it, use Import Backup.

Can the app tell me whether I can evict a tenant?

No. TX Landlord Docs is a document preparation tool, not a law firm, and it does not provide legal advice. Check Texas law and your lease, and consult a licensed Texas attorney about your situation.
